We have
2 lounges which are accessible by our guests at any time during their
stay. Having enjoyed a truly indulgent evening meal at one of the many
local restaurants, why not relax in one of our lounges with a fresh
pot of ground coffee or maybe a glass of whisky. There are drinks menus
in each lounge, but no bar (just ring the bell for service),
so wherever you choose to relax, it really does feel like home!
The larger
lounge has a colour TV along with various games and books to keep both
children and adults happy! We’ve got everything from Hoppit and
Chinese Chequers for the truly young at heart, to Cards, Dominoes, Chess
or even Risk for those seeking a bigger mental challenge! There is a
wide range of books to browse through including an extensive selection
of guide books to the area. We also have a large range of tourist leaflets
which give you all the information you could possibly need to make your
stay exactly what you want it to be!
The smaller
lounge is a more tranquil place, where the TV is replaced by a sound
system, allowing you to relax with your preferred radio station or maybe
your favourite CDs. Take time out to read that week’s Time Magazine
(Hotel copy available) or we can place an order for your preferred
newspaper at the local post office/shop (collected at approximately
9.30am daily and simply added to your Hotel bill) and catch up
with what’s happening in that hectic world from which you have
temporarily escaped!
Both lounges
benefit from large harbour facing windows, allowing you to enjoy the
wonderful view across to Castle Moil and beyond to the mountains.
